MAD MEN - OST

Com um lema inusitado, “Não importa o que você é ou o que quer, mas sim como você se vende”, Mad Men é digna de uma exceção diante da temática do blog. Com produção e criação de Matthew Weiner, a série que caminha para a sua 7ª temporada, tem sido elogiada por sua qualidade em autenticidade histórica no auge dos anos 60. Direção, produção, figurino, estilo e roteiro reconhecidos em prêmios já conquistados.

Boa parte da série é ambientada na Sterling Cooper, uma grande agência de publicidade de New York. A trama principal é focada na vida profissional e pessoal dos personagens que ali se estabelecem.  A árdua competição entre gêneros, a arte da persuasão põe vidas pessoais à venda, à luz das mudanças sociais ocorridas nos Estados Unidos naquela época.

Na verdade, não me atenho a acompanhar séries com frequência. De fato, admito que foram as escolhas musicais da trilha sonora que realmente me chamaram atenção para a série. E que escolhas! Apesar de o produtor da série não estabelecer nenhuma relação lógica entre essas escolhas, ele afirma que " As músicas resultam de uma resposta emocional. Não há regras para que sejam escolhidas nem o período em que surgiram se leva em consideração". Um tanto curioso! Assim, não hesitei em fazer essa busca grandiosa!
